Description
G-MOPS™ PLUS and G-MOPS™ are pH stable handling media designed to support the handling and manipulation of oocytes and embryos outside the incubator. Gx-MOPS PLUS has a unique combination of triple antioxidant protection for improved embryo viability.
G-MOPS™ is a MOPS buffered medium containing gentamicin as an antibacterial agent.
G-MOPS™ is protein-free.
For oocyte collection after temperature equilibration at +37 °C and ambient atmosphere. For oocyte collection G-MOPS™ should not be supplemented with G-MM™ or HSA-solution™. For oocyte and embryo manipulation after the addition of G-MM™ or HSA-solution™ and temperature equilibration at +37 °C and ambient atmosphere.
Application
For use after equilibration at +37°C.
Storage instructions and stability
Store dark at +2 to +8 °C.
G-MOPS™ is stable until the expiry date shown on the container labels and the LOT-specific Certificate of Analysis.
For Non-EU: Media bottles should not be stored after opening. Discard excess media after completion of the procedure.
EU: Media bottles can be used for up to two weeks after first opening, use aseptic technique and minimize the time outside the refrigerator. Record the opening date on the bottle. Discard excess media no later than two weeks after first opening.
